A customer had run a "specialty item" - a canned cappuccino product - and had lost a restrictor collar made of aluminum and stainless steel during the run. The product needed to be shipped out the next day. When CXR got the call, we had our technician and ACCUVUE x-ray unit™ on the road to the customer within two hours time. The x-ray inspection job began early the following morning and our customer shipped their product on schedule.

Baby Food / Formula Company
A large baby formula company had lost thin pieces of wire in their cans of powdered formula. They sent a set of seeded cans to various x-ray inspection companies for a "blind test." When CXR gave our test results to the company, they told us that we were the only x-ray inspection company that had 100% accurate test results. Needless to say, CXR got the job and the baby formula company has remained a loyal CXR customer ever since.
Electrical Component Manufacturer
A manufacturer of electrical components had a potential internal wiring problem with their entire run of a particular part at three of their plants. CXR was able to provide the manufacturer with an x-ray inspection unit at each of the three plants for long term leases. CXR can solve problems both large and small in any number of industries.
Dairy Company
An ice cream company that needed us "yesterday" brought samples to our plant for testing. In this case, it was faster for them to bring us the samples than to overnight them. CXR’s x-ray inspection machines were able to see the small metal particle contaminant in the ice cream product without breaking down the packaging and casing of the product. The x-ray inspection was completed at the customer’s plant and the customer was particularly impressed with how well CXR’s x-ray inspection equipment performed in a cold environment.
The customer’s Plant Manager commented:

Ham / Meat Processing Company
CXR received a desperate call from a ham processing company that intended to give each of its employees a ham for Christmas, and the Christmas party was in two days. A piece of metal had been lost somewhere in the hams. After speculating that the problem could easlity be solved by offering a special bonus for whoever found the metal in their ham, we quickly sent an x-ray unit and technician to the company and solved their problem. The company and its employees were all happy.
Canned Vegetables
A canned vegetable processor lost metal in a large amount of their canned product. The cans had to be run through the x-ray equipment on their sides in order to achieve an accurate find. The company needed the cans to be upright after the x-ray inspection so that they could be automatically cased and palletized. CXR engineered a quick design change to our conveyor system to give the customer what they needed. The inspection was a success.
